The Big Homecoming

This year's issue of the Mountains & Minds magazine highlighted the 50th anniversary of the MSU powwow. The MSU powwow celebrates the importance of Native students at MSU and the land aknowledgment the campus resides on. 

Design intent

  • Bring energy and movement to the images through design elements.

  • Use large photo spreads to emphasize the dancers and their colorful regalia.​

A Generational View

This year's Mountains & Mind placed a spotlight on an inspiring story of Doraine Keiser, a 2026 Rhodes Scholarship recipient. Sharing why she encourages other Indigenous students to never give up and keep following their successes.
